Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the Wolfpack's win over Virginia in the ACC tournament quarterfinals.

Lorenzo Brown

"We tried to run it as much as possible. We know they wanted a slow paced game and we just tried to push the ball. Just getting rebounds and pushing it."

"I'm looking at it like any other game, especially now that its tournament time. I just tried to play my best and get guys open."

"Scott has gotten a lot better since I've known him. Once he gets going it's hard to stop him. When he has a rhythm it's hard to contain him."

"It's kind of tough to guard those guys because they move around so much but I thought we did a good job today."

"[Larkin and Scott] are great defenders – they are off-ball defenders – they are good in the passing lanes. So it's going to be a hard task to get my guys where they need to be."

Richard Howell

"I feel like a statement has been made on the defensive end. A lot of people questioned us on the defensive end they knew we could score and get up and down but a lot of people criticized our defense."

"It's a great feeling but at the same time we know we have a lot more to go. We know our offense is going to be there but the thing is we have to get better on the defensive end."

"It's definitely a revenge game the same thing as Virginia. We lost to Miami at the buzzer."

T.J. Warren

"You just want to come out with energy every game. Everybody is expecting a lot out of us so we just want to bring it every night."

"We just wanted to show everybody that we are coming in here to win this tournament and that's what we are trying to do."

"They say it's never been done before in the ACC so we are going to make that happen. We'll just take it one day at a time."

"Scott has been moving well without the ball. Especially on that corner play and he's been knocking down his shots."
