Wood: They Are A Good Team

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State senior wing Scott Wood met with the media to discuss Friday's game against Temple.

"We all kind of clapped our hands. We thought we were going to be in, we just didn't know where we were going to be. Anytime you see your name on that screen there is a lot of excitement."

"I kind of wanted to go back home but I also wanted to go somewhere warm. It doesn't matter where you play. I'm sure my family would travel regardless of where it was at."

"We're just going out there and we're going to play our game. Temple obviously has a lot of good pieces and they are a really good team. They've played well against some great teams and they've beat some great teams. We have to go out there with our 'A' game."

"That was last year. It's a whole different team. We just have to go out there and execute and play well."

"It's fine. The goals are all 10 feet. I'll get there and check and if it's any different I'll change it up."

"We've had really good energy. We're reading our scout really well, we know what to do, and we're executing it. Anytime we have that great energy and we're helping each other we're a tough team."

"They are a good team. They have a great player in Wyatt and have a lot of good pieces around him. We'll have to be in a stance and make sure Wyatt takes some tough ones. We know he's going to score some baskets because that is what he does. We're just going to try and make it tough for him, and get them out of their comfort zone."

"You just have to get in, anything can happen once you get in. Eight, 11, 12, 14, 15... it doesn't really matter to me."
