Julius, what are you up to these days?
What's up everybody.

I've spent this past season playing professionally in Paris, France. It's been a lot of fun indulging in the Parisian culture.

I have a couple of local guys on my team my boy Jawad Williams and also Sean May. So needless to say our win versus the Tar Heels this past season went a long way for me!

What are your impressions of coach Gottfried's coaching staff and system?
My first impression on Coach Gottfried and company was extremely positive. I actually feel like I'm a part of the staff. I've been around practices and talking to the guys the past two seasons so I'm very familiar with everyone. It feels like I've been interning for the job of my dreams.

Gott is a very good coach, but personally I've never met a cooler adult in my life. Cooler than the other side of the pillow!

You had the option to declare for the NBA draft or return to school as a senior and you chose to return. What factors went in to your final decision?
My decision to either declare for the NBA draft or come back to school was simple.

It was either follow my dreams OR attain my degree, make some more cherished memories in a Pack uniform, meet my wife, and still follow my dreams.

The decision of actually leaving after my junior year was never a real option for me. I just liked making everyone believe it was, and besides, my presser to announce I'm staying was classic!

Do you believe high school kids should be able to go pro out of high school? Why or why not?
I do believe kids should have the right to declare for the NBA draft straight out of high school.

If a kid is good enough and can immediately provide a way to feed his family then why should we hold them back? You can go to war to protect this nation's freedoms, but you can't go on a basketball court and live out your dreams?

What do you think Wolfpack fans can expect to see from LSU transfer Ralston Turner (if you've had a chance to see him play)?
Ralston Turner will be a great addition to the Pack.

He's a 6'6 shooter who can put the ball on the floor and finish. He's very sound defensively and he's a gym rat (I always love those guys).

Now that I got the generic response out of the way... he is a baller! I've seen him dominate a couple of practices this past season.

He is a very humble kid and appreciates every opportunity. I'm rooting for him.

Do you stay in contact with some of your former college teammates? Who are some that you remain the closest with today?
I stay in contact with most of the guys I played with during my career, especially, Levi [Watkins] and Shoush [Evtimov]. I tell them all the time that my son will grow up to be the best baller between our sons and also the most handsome.

Yup, the more things change, the more they stay the same. :)

What are your thoughts on the ACC adding Syracuse, Louisville, Notre Dame, and Pittsburgh?
I think ACC commissioner John Swofford's ability to grab Louisville, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Notre Dame from the Big East was huge!

This move has undoubtedly propelled the ACC back to the forefront of college basketball dominance.

Syracuse's Juli Boeheim will shine bright in this conference (oh yeah, Jimmy too I guess).

The boost on the gridiron will be outstanding as well.
