Not only did he hit two home runs in Christian's baseball win, the 6-foot-3, 240-pounder picked up his third football scholarship offer.
"It was a great day," said Bradbury, laughing. "After my baseball game I got a call from Bo Hines, and he said I had to call coach Faulkner from NC State right away. So, I called coach Faulkner and he said I want you to come play for me, and he gave me coach Doeren's number to call him.
"Coach Doeren was great. He talked about how they wanted me to be a part of the program, and we talked some about how he wants to do things up there. He then said for me to talk with my parents and get back up with him."
A versatile talent, Bradbury could play defensive end or tight end on the next level, and he is also being recruited as a long-snapper.
"Well, I can snap too, but I think NC State is mainly recruiting me to play tight end," he said. "Coach Faulkner is the tight ends coach and he said he wanted me to play for him so I'm pretty sure it's at tight end.
"Coach Faulkner is a great guy. He's just honest. He tells you the truth and lets you know how he feels. He seems like a great guy that I can see myself playing for."
NC State's first 2014 commitment, Bo Hines, is a teammate of Bradbury at Charlotte Christian. It sounds like he's been serving as an additional recruiter for the Wolfpack.
"[Laughing] Bo is doing his job," said Bradbury. "We both have been talking about going up there together and rooming together for a while now so it's great they've offered me."
Bradbury already held offers from Charlotte and Colorado State, and the NC State offer now gives him something serious to think about. It sounds like there is a possibility he could be making a decision in the near future.
"I think I'm close to making a decision," said Bradbury. "I love State and really like coach Doeren and coach Faulkner. I'm going to talk with my parents and my head coach some more, but I think it's a great fit for me."
Bradbury, who attended NC State's Junior Day, hopes he can attend the spring game this Saturday.
"They want me to come up there," he said. "I'm trying to for sure. I want to get up there again."
