This spring, NC State received a letter of intent from New Mexico JC guard Desmond Lee.
NC State still has four scholarships available, but they could be done with the 2013 recruiting class. The five-man haul, considered one of the best in the country, includes three Top 100 recruits, a junior college All-American, and a McDonald's All-American.
The Wolfpack will have another scholarship available for the 2014 recruiting class (Jordan Vandenberg), and two have already been offered to and accepted by Mouth of Wilson (VA) Oak Hill wings Cody Martin and Caleb Martin.
Here is an updated roster of the scholarship players following Lennard Freeman's commitment.

|Vandenberg is entering his redshirt senior season as a reserve.||Ralston Turner||SF/SG||R-Jr.||Muscle Shoals HS (Ala.)||6-5/209|
