Clyde, Williams Discuss NCAA Bid

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State's Grant Clyde and Brett Williams met with the media to discuss the Wolfpack's NCAA bid.

"Everybody wants the opportunity to be a national seed."

"As soon as we heard we're not, that's when it's over. That's when you have to move forward and get ready for what's coming next."

"We know we have some serious competition coming to our regional and we're just excited for the postseason."

"We're going to try to win the next one."

"We've dealt with adversity all year, learning from playing from behind."

"It's really made us a better team, and it's something we can feed off of."

"We're going to work on what didn't go our way and try to patch everything up and be the best team we can going into the tournament."

"The support here is insane."

"I'm very excited for this postseason, especially here."

"I think we could have gone for four or five games there."

"There is a very good chance we might still be there playing."

"When we saw Florida State at seven, things started looking pretty grim for that. It did move e pretty fast."

"We're completely focused on that now and not looking back on anything."

"Now we're out to prove that we are a top-8 team in the nation, and we're going to try and play like we can."

"We can deal with adversity."

"That one hurt... 18 innings, one run, everyone struggling for hitting, us, them."

"As the day went on, it happened, and we have to move on... got bigger fish to fry."

"I had some opportunities late in the game, I know a few other players did."

"I's a team game, what can you do."

"It's on everyone of our lockers, the date... 1968."
