NC State is two wins away from heading to the 2013 College World Series.
The Wolfpack will host Rice this weekend in a Super Regional, with the winner of the three-game series advancing to the College World Series. It is the first time in program history that the Wolfpack will host a Super Regional.
NC State (47-14) is on a roll behind a hot pitching staff. In its three games this weekend, the Wolfpack allowed just three runs, the fewest the school has ever allowed in its 26 NCAA regional appearances. The previous mark was seven runs allowed en route to the 2008 Raleigh Regional title, when the Pack outscored its three opponents, 13-7.
Tickets for the Raleigh Super Regional will go on sale to WPC members and season ticket holders through 5 p.m. on Tuesday. At 5:01 p.m. on Tuesday, ticket sales will open up to the general public. Will call begins at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
If available, single session tickets for game two will go on sale following the conclusion of game one. Single session tickets for game three will go on sale following the conclusion of game two.
