At 5-11, 150 pounds Greensboro (NC) Dudley Emmanuel Mosley may be under-sized currently but what he lacks in bulk, he definitely makes up for in speed. At a recent Shrine Bowl combine Mosley ran a 4.35-second 40 yard dash and posted one of the day's best broad jumps of 9-11.
Mosley talked about his workout and where he feels he projects best on the next level.
"Pretty much I just ran my hardest. My coach told me I needed to get a 4.3 because I have a few schools looking at me so I knew I needed to do my best. At my school I play cornerback and receiver but right now I'm at quarterback because we're waiting for a quarterback to come in. All the schools are talking to me about cornerback once I get to college."
Mosley has landed a couple of scholarship offers already with a quartet of additional schools keeping a close eye on his progress.
"East Carolina has offered me," said Mosley. "NC A&T has offered me. NC State is looking at me- Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia Tech."
Mosley has visited NC State previously and should they offer, just may emerge as the team to beat.
"I came up to NC State for the spring game," he said. "I really like them. They're the school I've always wanted to go to. Coach White has been recruiting me and he's been checking on me. I love State's facilities and their fan support. They told me if I come to their camp and do good on my 40 I might could get an offer."
In addition to the Wolfpack, Mosley plans to hit several camps over the coming weeks.
"I'm also looking at Tennessee. I go up there on the 10th, I go to Georgia Tech on the 6th and Florida State on the 13th. I'm camping at all those schools."
So who's on top for the rising senior?
"NC State and Tennessee are my top two."
