NC State and Auburn are the two stand out schools for one of the South's top offensive linemen.
Terronne Prescod isn't ruling out the possibility that he could end up somewhere else, but he's also very open when it comes to his current favorites. NCSU and Auburn lead everyone else.
He's far more familiar with Auburn than he is with NCSU.
"Auburn, that's my first love. I get a good vibe from the school every time I go down there. I like the family vibe. I like the coaching staff down there. I think I've been there like six times.
"I like NC State's coaching staff and think they're real cool. They tell me I have a good chance of starting my first couple of years. I like the library up there. That's real cool. I've just been once but I'm planning to go again."
Prescod said the two schools lead and given the disparity in the number of visits one would have to believe that the Tigers are in the better spot. But Prescod's willingness to visit Raleigh again could be a sign that the Wolfpack is in much better shape than some have imagined.
"I've been talking to Coach Nielson and he's a real cool coach. He seems like he wants me to learn from him and get better. I can tell he wants to coach me. He wants to be in my life and that's what I'm looking for in a coach," Prescod said.
The Decatur (GA) Columbia offensive lineman will visit Auburn one last time on July 7. Three weeks later on July 27 he will be in Raleigh for his last trip to NC State. His mother will accompany him on those visits.
After that he should be ready to make his decision.
"I was thinking about making a decision soon. My mom was just uncomfortable with me making a decision without her coming up."
