Chubb Makes It Official

Powder Springs (GA) standout Bradley Chubb became the third defensive line commitment of the day when he pledged to NC State on Monday afternoon.

NC State needed defensive linemen and they filled the lion's share of those spots in the span of two hours on Monday.

After picking up commitments from Justin Jones and Deonte Holden earlier in the day, Powder Springs (GA) Hillgrove defensive end Bradley Chubb committed to NC State Monday afternoon.

"I just prayed on it," said Chubb. "My parents liked it, and I felt like it was the place for me to be.

"When I went on my first visit, they took me on a tour, and I was just blown away by it because on TV, they undersell it so much you would never guess it was this nice. We went to the new library and it was just one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Everything is just amazing."

At 6-4, 235 pounds Chubb is currently rated a three-star prospect and the No. 46 defensive end in the nation by He held double-digit offers including pledges from Miss. State, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Wake Forest, and West Virginia among others.
