Staying True

Terronne Prescod had several offers to choose from before he elected to commit to NC State. Since his June pledge, some other programs have attempted to maintain contact with Precod in hopes that he elects to open his recruitment back up. As things stand now, it appears other suitors may be out of luck.

"You know I committed a few weeks ago and things have been going good since then," said Terronne Prescod on Wednesday afternoon. "I talk to NC State just about every other day.

"I have a great relationship with all of the coaches there and I am really happy with my decision."

Prescod's pledge to the Pack did not come without some thorough evaluation from the talented offensive guard.

"I went to camps at Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and a couple of more schools," said Prescod. "I just felt the most at home at NC State.

"I feel like that's the best place for me." "I am not going anywhere else for any camps or anything like that," said Prescod. "I really don't have anything planned.

"I am just working with my team to get ready for the season.

"I am taking on the leadership role and I am trying to embrace that and help the team get ready for the season.

"I think we have the chance to really do something this year."
