"It was great," said Till. "Junior Day was the last time I came so I wanted to come down for an unofficial visit before my official visit so my mom could see the campus and the facilities. I had seen everything already, but I thought it all was nice. The good thing is my mom and dad both feel the same way about it as I do."
Till was able to watch some of the Wolfpack's first scrimmage, and he gave his thoughts on it.
"The scrimmage was real intense," he said. "You could tell both the offense and defense were really working hard. I know #2 the receiver on offense made a couple of nice catches.
"The practice was really uptempo and very aggressive. Even the warmups they were hyped up... that was neat to watch."
Till, who says he is currently 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds, is being recruited to play tight end by NC State. Some programs viewed him as potentially an offensive tackle, but he believes tight end is where he will excel on the next level.
"Yes sir, I'll be playing tight end," he stated. "I've already been talking with the coaches about how I'll fit in.
"I'm in great shape right now. I've been working out with my team and this spring and summer I was able to get in the weightroom a lot. I wasn't aiming for a set weight, but I didn't want to go over 250."
Till held offers from Duke, Toledo, UCONN, NC State, Temple, Towson, and James Madison among others when he picked the Wolfpack.
For him, he enjoyed the chance to get back down to Raleigh and spend time with the players and the coaches.
"I loved it," he added. "I've been talking with the coaches all along, so it was good to get back down around them.
"I'm hoping to maybe come back down for some games. I think I will be taking my official visit in December."
He is currently rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com.
