Thomas: "We Can Be More Crisp"

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State quarterback Pete Thomas met with the media following the Wolfpack's second scrimmage.

"There was some good on offense, some bad on offense. We have to clean up the bad if we want to have the type of year we want to have."

"Everyday, myself and everyone else on offense is getting more comfortable... we have to be a little more urgent. Just try to take the bad stuff off the tape."

"He's a tough runner. He's going to lower his shoulder and get those tough yards. You've got to love a running back that will do that."

"They are big, tall guys that can run and are pretty athletic... they are going to be big-time playmakers for us."

"It's kind of crazy, the game is only 14 or 15 days away. It's coming up quick."

"You've got to take the bad things off the film... we can be more crisp with everything."

"In terms of getting signals in quicker, understanding exactly what we're doing, and not turning the ball over."
