At one point NCState was at the top of Jamiyus Pittman's list. Things have changed a little bit since then.
Before the summer started the Moultrie (GA) Colquitt County defensive tackle committed to Ole Miss but he has not stopped listening to other schools. He has been open about the fact that he wants to take other official visits and do more research before he has to sign.
"I know I'm gonna take one (official visit) to Ole Miss. I'm going to take one to Michigan State and probably Mississippi State. I think Miami too."
NC State is still involved to some degree but don't appear to be showing as much interest as they were earlier in the year.
"I'm talking to them and they offered me. They were my favorite at one point in time but they quit talking to me as much. It's been a little while since I talked to them. I'm probably going to call them soon but it's dropped off a little bit."
Pittman (6-2, 290 pounds) won't be taking those official visits until after the season so there is still a chance his plans could change. He did say that he would be willing to take an official visit to NC State if they show the interest they did earlier in the process.
There's always the possibility he could stick with the Rebels and right now he said that is the most likely outcome.
"I'm solid right now. I'm happy with my commitment," he said.
Colquitt County had a scrimmage against Norcross last week and led 14-0 for most of the game until they surrendered the lead late and took the loss.
