2015 RB Hoping to Visit NC State

Miramar (FL) tailback Alex Anderson lists NC State as one of the schools he's looking forward to visiting in the near future.

Miramar (Fla.) running back Alex Anderson is a 2015 running back and athlete that NC State fans will be hearing a lot about over the next year or so.

He's got offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, NC State, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin, but the list of schools he wants to visit looks a little different.

"I really want to visit Florida State, Wisconsin and North Carolina State. Those are just three schools I really want to get out to."

Anderson said he has between seven and ten offers though he said he couldn't list all of them off the top of his head. Offers are tricky business these days at least until written tenders can go out. He's trying to set up some college visits for this fall but doesn't know where he will actually be able to go yet.

While Anderson said he has not heard from NCSU he did say that he's spoken to the staff before.

"Coach Richard (McNutt) kept in good contact with me and he's kind of told me a little bit. He's let me know what's going on and he's told me there would be a lot of running in their offense."

Anderson said he does like the idea of staying close to home so at least in that sense Florida State would seem to have a lot to offer.

"I like the fact that a lot of my family went to Florida State. I know I like the downhill clean running game. Coach Jimbo Fisher is one of the greatest coaches and I would love to play for them too."

The other school Anderson wants to visit is Wisconsin and he said the Badgers are mostly appealing because of their power running game. He said that would suit him well and he likes the fact that they make a living on the ground.

Balancing out Anderson's desire to stay close to home is the excitement of experiencing something new so he did say if he does not get the right local offer he will consider leaving his home state.
