Did you have a bitter taste in your mouth after the Richmond game?
It is always good to win. I know it was tough, but that game showed a lot about our team. We came together as a team and we fought through the tough times. Richmond is a tough team; they're a good team. A lot of people would overlook them but they're ranked in their division so it comes with the territory. No wavering.
How is the team's confidence in Pete Thomas?
We are very confident. Coach always tells us "Next guy up." So, if someone goes down, it is the next guy's opportunity to go in and play. You have to know your assignment and know your job. We are confident and we know (Thomas) is going to do a great job and lead us on the offensive end.
How nice is it to start ACC play?
It is always good. It is good to get the ACC started early. It is always fun to play Clemson, so it is good.
What do you know about Clemson?
Well, they're good. They've got a good offense. They've been together for a long time. They're a experienced group; they do a lot of shifts and such to try to mess with your eyes, so it is our job on defense to play with our eyes and our keys every time.
Is it different preparing for a Thursday game as opposed to a Saturday game?
It is a little different because of the day of the week it is on, but the preparation is basically the same. The way we go about things, we try to get in the same routine every week to prepare for the opponent for the upcoming week.
