"It was a really hard fought game."

"I thought both sides were very physical. F or three quarters it was a back and forth defensive game. I thought both of us did a very good job."

"We just didn't stop their run in the fourth quarter."

"We had some guys open and overthrew them, and had a couple of nice throws that we dropped. It just wasn't good enough. Syracuse was better in the fourth quarter running the football."

"Our goal was to make the quarterback throw to beat us and we didn't do that."

"We are at the halfway point of the season and both of our quarterbacks are hurt... we have a bye week at the right time and get some guys back. I think we will, and I look forward to seeing a lot of guys returned to the lineup because we need them."

"We just have to make more plays and obviously we have to finish the game better.'

"It wasn't close. I could have played him and put him at risk, but I'm not going to do that. He came out Sunday and Tuesday and he can stand there in shoulder pads and he can stand there and throw it really good, but I can still tell he's not himself when he has to run."

"it was a his non-throwing shoulder. They said he would be okay in a couple of days, but he would just be really sore. He just landed i on it funny and they were concerned about it, but they said the X-Rays were negative."

"They have two really good backs. They don't do a lot, they just ran one-back power and have a bubble screen outside of it."

"Yes, there are six games on our schedule and we're going to try and win every one of them."

"Jack Tocho had two picks in his first start at corner."

"There are some positives to the game, but the finish wasn't."

"We have to be able to at times win a game defensively and tonight was that game."
