"It's fun. It's fun for our players. They have a great time. I think we have such great fans that it's fun for our guys."

"The scrimmage part, it's so early. I do like that our young guys are starting to learn and starting to do some things that I like."

"I thought for the players it was a good night."

"Well, I liked the fact that Jordan has put himself in a position to have a good year. He's in the best shape of his life, he has good stamina, and it shows. Now he's running up and down the floor without getting tired and he can affect the game because he's not getting as tired."

"Tyler, I thought, was really very good, and T.J."

"The young guys are still learning. Cat has a minute here or there, Desmond has something here or there, but I thought that Jordan, Tyler, and T.J., as the most experienced guys, they played probably a little better than everybody else."

"I think our guys, they are learning how to utilize [Jordan's] size and length... throwing the ball up by the rim. Jordan has good hands and he's in good shape where he can get down there and be involved in the play. Last year he had a hard time doing that."

"I think competition always makes you better. I think our players are competing. They don't really have any idea of who is going to start."

"It's good for guys to compete like that. I think that's going to help our team."

"T.J. is in great physical shape and because of that I think he's going to have a great year... he has a knack and uncanny ability to make shots. Now that he's in such great shape he gets up and down the floor even more."
