Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the loss to Maryland.

T.Y. McGill

"We made a call and we executed... I was surprised that I made it, it just happened."

"I knew the guy was going to pull through preparing the whole week and reading the keys."

"It was real frustrating."

"The seniors are leaving with a loss... we just have to come back and compete and get ready for next year."

"Honestly, I feel that these coaches that we have were a blessing. They came in and it wasn't football first. It was coming in and knowing who each other is, getting to know everybody and everybody coming together as a family."

"Once that happens you come together as a team."

Brandon Mitchell

"Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good."

"A lot of those plays the ball didn't bounce a certain way."

"We just had to strain and play as hard as we could every single snap."

Juston Burris

"We have guys that played a lot of snaps."

"Just a good rivalry... we've been going against each other since the sixth grade."

"Just a good environment. We're 3-9 on the season and we still had fans coming out."

"It's the fans, it's beautiful here."

"You never want it to come down to one play."
