Pack Extends Late Offer to In-State Corner

NC State has thrown their hat in the ring with Greensboro (NC) Dudley cornerback Emmanuel Moseley.

Emmanuel Moseley was impressive during the spring combines held earlier in the year. In fact his performance helped land an offer from Tennessee and he didn't waste much time committing the Vols.

Moseley made no secret about the fact that he liked NC State but the Pack didn't immediately offer. They did extend a scholarship pledge a little over a week ago but it may be too late.

"Right now I'm just focusing on Tennessee and seeing what they have to offer me but if anything came up then I would have to wait and see. If there was a major coaching change or something it might make me change my decision or start to think about it."

Moseley has visited State in the past and the Pack has kept the line of communication open in the event that he has a change of heart.

The Dudley defensive back visited State for the Pack's spring game early this year and has remained in contact with the coaching staff even since his commitment to Tennessee. When asked about that communication he simply says it's nothing major, but the talks are happening.

"NC State is a great school that was always my number one school coming in. I want to major in mechanical engineering and they have a great program for that. I liked them because of what I want to study. I love the football program and the coaching staff is pretty cool.

"I went when they played Clemson and it was a good time. They want me to play DB and pretty much told me I can come in and get some playing time right now but like I said I'm just focusing on Tennessee."

Moseley is expected to enroll in college in January. He is rated a three star prospect and the No. 89 cornerback in the nation by Scout.com.
