Pack Makes Frasier an Early Priority

NC State has made Princeton (NC) junior tailback Johnny Frasier an early priority. Pack Pride has the latest on Frasier's recruitment.

NC State, Duke and North Carolina are all making Johnny Frasier a top in-state recruit and he's feeling the love from all of them.

Frasier witnessed Duke's second straight win over North Carolina and said that win and Duke's season has been an impressive thing to behold.

"They're doing pretty good. I think they've got great coaches. I've been to a couple of games and that was the last one. I went to the Duke and Navy game too so I've been there. I've got some interest in them but I'm staying open minded and looking at it education wise. I'm really still in a neutral zone."

The Princeton (NC) running back had a monster season and became a member of the exclusive 3,000-yard club (3,049 yards) with 45 touchdowns. If that doesn't impress you he also had 575 receiving yards and another five touchdowns through the air.

Frasier is still relatively new to the running back position so most schools feel he possesses a ton of upside. NC State is one of those schools and they're hoping to get the junior running back on campus sometime in the near future.

"I was supposed to go to a couple of games but it didn't work out. I talk to them on a daily basis though. I talk to Coach Doeren and Coach White. You can tell they have a plan in place and they're good coaches. They just need to put the plan in motion. It's going to take them a little while but I think they're going to do a great job."

Frasier is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com.
