Huge Weekend For State

Several of NC State's committed prospects will be on campus this weekend for their official visits, but the Wolfpack will also be hosting a stellar group of uncommitted targets. Here is a look at those recruits, which includes a pair of four-star prospects.

Several of NC State's committed prospects will be on campus this weekend for their official visits, but the Wolfpack will also be hosting a stellar group of uncommitted targets.

Here is a look at those recruits, which includes a pair of four-star prospects.

Defensive End Kentavius Street
(6-3, 265 pounds, 4.7/40) Rose High School, Greenville, NC
Prospect Ranking: 4-Star Prospect...No. 16 DE Nationally
Recruiter: Des Kitchings
Notes: Arguably the top prospect left on the board for NC State, Street remains a major target for the Wolfpack.

He's already taken an official visit to Ole Miss, and the Rebels have made a huge push, but the Wolfpack continues to stick out. This weekend will be critical to the Wolfpack's chances.

Expect them to go all out for Street, who is also still considering LSU and Miami.

Street is one of the few prospects along the trenches that you can say is ready, physically, to contribute as a true freshman.

Wide Receiver Trevion Thompson
(6-3, 185 pounds, 4.5/40) Hillside High School, Durham, NC
Prospect Ranking: 4-Star Prospect...No. 14 WR Nationally
Recruiter: Des Kitchings
Notes: NC State has been on Thompson for a long time and the Wolfpack is firmly in his final four with Clemson, Ohio State, and West Virginia. Thompson has already taken an official visit to Ohio State and he's set to visit Clemson in January.

A teammate of Pack recruit Donte Thomas-Williams, the duo has never said that they are a package deal, but the possibility is there, particularly for Thomas-Williams and Thompson. Both have West Virginia and NC State on their final lists.

They are also teammates of NC State safety commitment Kalen McCain.

Thompson may not have elite speed, but he is a terrific route-runner blessed with outstanding hands and the ability to win balls in the air on a consistent basis. A potential game-breaker, he certainly could contribute as a true freshman.

Offensive Lineman Will Richardson
(6-6, 308 pounds, 5.3/40) Cummings High School, Greenville, NC
Prospect Ranking: 3-Star Prospect...No. 88 OT Nationally
Recruiter: Clayton White
Notes: A current Virginia commitment, Richardson seriously considered NC State early in his recruitment prior to picking the Cavaliers.

He has made the short drive over from Burlington earlier this fall to watch a Wolfpack game, and the interest is obvious given the fact that he will be taking an official visit.

Expect a quick decision from Richardson, who is a mid-year enrollee.

Richardson is a big, athletic tackle prospect who could potentially line up inside on the college level. He has long arms and moves well for a player his size.

Athlete Elliott Davis
(5-11, 180 pounds, 4.4/40) Quince Orchard High School, Gaithersburg, MD
Prospect Ranking: 3-Star Prospect...No. 79 CB Nationally
Recruiter: Richard McNutt
Notes: A late-bloomer who recently added offers from NC State and Wake Forest, Davis also holds offers from Maryland and Clemson among others.

He has the ability to line up at either wide receiver, cornerback, or safety on the next level.
