"NC State did a great job of recruiting him," said Centrael head coach Wayne Jones. "The coaching staff, they are great. They showed him love... they all did. A lot of places it might be just one coach, but at NC State everyone was showing him love and attention.

"They all have an interest in him, and he felt a family atmosphere there. He can receive a great eduction, and it's a place where his family can go watch him play."

Why NC State? "My momma wanted me to stay in-state. She didn't want me to go far away from home, and I've liked NC State since the first time I went up there."

Scouting Report:
"It's a great fit. Everyone is going to spread offenses in college so you need those linebackers that can make plays in space. Germaine can do that. You put him out there at linebacker and you have a good one that can win almost all of those one-on-one battles that you need to win.

"Germaine is a leader for us, our defensive captain. He does a lot of things for us, in coverage, special teams... even on offense. He has a high football IQ and he's going to work hard on the field and in the film room. He's a ball-hawk that flies around the field." - Central head coach Wayne Jones
