Recruiting Scene: Culler committed to NC State last May after seriously considering several offers, including North Carolina.

Why NC State? "State likes me at middle linebacker, the same place I've been playing all through high school. They're graduating the two guys that played at middle linebacker this year some I'm coming in competing with the other guys. Coach Huxtable has been real good to me and he says he's going to try to get me in there and see what happens."

Picked NC State Over: North Carolina, East Carolina, Duke, Virginia, and several other programs

Scouting Report: Arguably NC State's most underrated recruit, there is a lot to like about Culler. He has a frame capable of adding a lot of weight, meaning he could end up playing multiple positions. Resembles former Wolfpacker J.R. Sweezy coming out of high school, but he is much more natural as a linebacker. Terrific instincts, flows well, runs sideline-to-sideline. Culler has a chance to see the field as a true freshman.
