Brown On Pack's Radar

Ayden-Grifton (NC) defensive tackle Justin Brown talks about his junior day visit to NC State.

NC State and East Carolina are two of the schools that have taken a liking to a big run stuffer at defensive tackle.
Justin Brown knows a lot of schools are looking at him but he said NC State and East Carolina are the two that have recruited him the hardest so far. He visited both of those schools a little over a week ago. First was ECU last Saturday and then the very next day he was in Raleigh for a photo opportunity and Junior Day.
Brown plays low to the ground and with good strength and the 6-3, 310-pound Ayden-Grifton lineman has good reason to hope for offers. He got some good feedback from the NCSU coaches.
"I've been up there before but I liked it very much. I've been to a couple of games and I went to a camp there. We didn't do too much this time. They showed us the campus, showed us the facilities and stuff like that. The campus is beautiful. They have great facilities. I really liked the facilities a lot. They showed us the weight room and took us into the stadium."
Head coach Dave Doeren spoke with the recruits individually and as a group. Meeting with him was an exciting moment for Brown as he would love an offer from the Pack.
"They were telling me that they really liked me as a player. They have a great coaching staff. They're all great people."

Recruiting coordinator Des Kitchings and defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen spent some time with Brown as well and those two will head up NC State's recruiting efforts.
Right now the only additional visit in the near future is a trip to see UNC in early March. Brown does not have any favorites currently.
