Trea Turner and Carlos Rodon each make their third career All-ACC appearances. Clemson's Steve Wilkerson is the only other three-time honoree on the 2014 All-ACC teams. Turner made the first team in 2013, and the second team in 2012.
Rodon is the seventh three-time All-ACC first teamer in NC State history. The six previous three-time honorees were third baseman Chris Cammack (1969, 1970, 1971), designated hitter Chuckie Canady (1979, 1980, 1981), first baseman Turtle Zaun (1986, 1987, 1988), outfielder Brian Bark (1988, 1989, 1990), outfielder Brian Wright (1999, 2000, 2001), and reliever Joey Devine (2003, 2004, 2005). Rodon is the first starting pitcher in NC State history to pull the feat.
Knizner starts his collegiate career with an All-ACC third team selection, becoming the first Wolfpack freshman to earn all-conference since Rodon's first-team bid in 2012.
