His most recent offer was yesterday from North Carolina.
"It felt amazing," said the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Pollard. "They're a great university like the others, and I was happy to just be on their radar.
"(Safeties) coach (Vic) Koenning and (offensive line) coach (Chris) Kapilovic are recruiting me. They told me that I have good footwork for my weight and that they can't wait to get me up to camp."
The schools that have offered are not the only ones showing interest in the rising junior.
"I've also talked to Clemson, Wake Forest and South Carolina," said the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Pollard. I've also gotten letters from Auburn and Alabama. I'm not sure who will be the next to offer. I'm just going to keep working as hard as I can."
His most recent visit was to an in-state school.
"I went to N.C. State about a month ago mainly to see the school," Pollard said. "We went to the library, which is amazing and just took tour of the school. It was a good chance for me to see the school from an academic standpoint.
"I also talked to the coach (Mike) Uremovich, the O-line coach, and coach (Clayton) White, the safeties coach. They told me it was great that I came to see the school, and they really stressed academics."
It will be a busy summer for Pollard.
"I'm going to camps at Auburn, Alabama, N.C. State, North Carolina and Duke," Pollard said.
He is looking forward to his junior season.
"I think my team and coaches will expect a lot more out of me this year," he said. "I'm just going to do whatever I can to win and get closer to that state championship."
