Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the win over Georgia Southern.

Jacoby Brissett

"My adrenaline was pumping a little bit too much."

"It was great. The offensive line did a great job in the second half. After the game I couldn't tell them how proud of them I was."

"[The playmakers] came out and did what we wanted them to do."

"I wanted them to win and I knew I had to calm myself down so everyone else would stay calm."

"That's all it took for me."

"I probably didn't get touched one time whenever I was driving. That was all the offensive line."

"It was great."

"We executed the plan toward the end."

"He did a great job. Bo's a great player, but a lot of players around him open up gaps for him. A lot of other players made plays, blocking on the edge for Bo so you have to commend them too. I'm sure Bo will."

Bra'lon Cherry

"We just all put it together."

"It feels great... we have to keep it moving."

"I expected [Jacoby] to be very good, like he did."

"It's a big weekend."

"I didn't see the [New Bern] game, but I made sure I knew what was going on. [New Bern-Havelock] is always a big game for us."

"The crowd is going wild, everybody is going wild."

Shadrach Thornton

"I could look into Jacoby's eyes and tell that he wanted it."

"I could tell that Jacoby Brissett was going to get the ball and drive us down the field, and he did."

"We did what we had to do."

"When we got to the fourth quarter... that's what we preached in the offseason, to finish."

"It was the work that we put in before camp. I'm just proud that it paid off."

"I feel like in the fourth quarter... there are things we should have done better, drives we should have finished, but I'm glad we got this win."

"I was ready to get back on the field and help our team out."

"What matters is the win."

"We weren't as mentally tough as we are now."

"I'm here to do my part. The coaches have a plan and obviously they know what they are doing."
