*****

How exciting was it to play multiple roles on Saturday? What was it like? It feels great... not only to play in the backfield but to also line up at receiver and be able to help the team.

It feels great.

Talk more about being to play wideout and receiver.
There's three of us. With me lining up at receiver and one of the other backs at running back, it's great to get both of us playing time.

We get to distribute the ball well.

Do you like the option of the Wildcat?
Yes, I definitely love it for short-yardage.

It's great.

How much lining up at receiver and catching passes did you do in high school?
I did a lot of that.

I was great at catching theball out of the backfield and lining up at receiver, so I thought this was probably the best program for me to do that.

Have you always had great hands?
Yes, it's always been natural for me.

There seems to be a three-headed monster at running back.
We like it. We're competing every day to try and get the best out of each other. It's fun with the three of us there.

What adjustments did you make at halftime?
We knew we had to win the game, and we couldn't play how we did in the first half. We had to put our helmets on and play hard.

We saw the other team getting tired and kept trying to push it, but they kept falling down.

Were you in better shape?
We were well-conditioned. Coach V. and his staff did a great job over the summer. We weren't tried at all out there.

Do you believe we'll see the fast-paced offense more this year?
With how they responded, we're definitely going to keep going on with that.

How much different did you feel this year?
A million times different. Last year I was getting tired after the first play, but in the game I wasn't tired at all.

I could have kept going all day.

Were you mentally stronger this year?
Yes. Last year I was so concerned with messing up the plays, and this year I was just playing. I was calm and able to execute what they told us to do without being nervous.

What are your thoughts on the new black jerseys?
I thought it was great. I wore black jerseys in high school, so it will be great to put on black jerseys again.

What was going through your mind on the last touchdown?
It was routine. We do it everyday in practice.

I knew he was going to make the perfect throw and I was going to make the perfect catch. We were very confident.

Who was the leader on the offense?
Our quarterback. He stepped up big time for us.

He led us and he was more vocal.
