Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the 46-34 win over ODU.

Jacoby Brissett

"We came out in the second half and really played well."

"I thought the offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage."

"It's all about practicing... it's good to see these things translate into the games."

"If they do that every game we can win a lot of games."

"We just have to go out and score every drive, a touchdown drive."

"In all phases of the game we really stepped up and played well."

"As long as we get some yards and win that's perfectly fine with me."

Jack Tocho

"As a defense, you can't stop everything. That was a tremendous quarterback that we faced. We knew that he was going to throw the ball well."

"We locked in more in the second half."

"At halftime, we always tell each other the next play, the next play and forget about the past."

"It's a lot of confidence, just knowing that we're winning and rallying around each other."

"We'll always be around each other and supporting."

"We're all confident."

Matt Dayes

"We don't get tired. All of the credit goes to the strength and conditioning staff."

"I think we're the best running back tandem in the ACC. There's nothing we can't do."

"It prepares us for everything else."

"It was very important for us to win in these uniforms."

"They have a pretty good offense and we have a pretty good offense. We just have to keep scoring."

Shadrach Thornton

"We have a pretty great running backs coach."

"Our job, it changes so much."

"Coach V is an awesome strength coach. He's prepared our body to sustain those blows."

"If we're not doing something the other guy will step up. The fear of that happening just makes us play harder."

"We have a bunch of guys ready to step up."

"I just like the combo that we have right now."

"I love it. It gives us a lot of responsibility."
