PLAYER OF THE WEEK- DE Malik Douglas (South Brunswick High School)- Douglas had a fumble returned 80 yards for a touchdown, converted on a fake extra point for a two point conversion and recorded an interception while helping South Brunswick to a 42-12 win over Pender.

LB James Smith-Williams (Millbrook High School)- Millbrook lost to East Wake 7-6.

LB Riley Nicholson (Osceola High School)- Nicholson totaled 14 tackles, three tackles for loss a forced fumble and a pass breakup but Osceola lost to Lake Mary 29-28.

DT Quentez Johnson (Cedar Grove High School)- Cedar Grove lost to Columbia 22-0.

S Jarius Morehead (Eastern Guilford High School)- ran 13 times for 120 yards while completing four of six passes for 54 yards. Morehead has two rushing touchdowns and one through the air as Eastern Guilford beat Eastern Randolph 37-6.

QB Austin King (Alpharetta High School)- completed 12 of 18 passes for 137 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while helping Alpharetta to a 38-6 win over West Forsyth.

S Freddie Phillips (Pelion High School)- Phillips had nine tackles and a forced fumble and added two rushes for 36 yards. Pelion lost to Gilbert, 38-6.

WR Brian Sessoms (Carver High School)- tooka screen pass 88 yards for a touchdown but Carver lost to Mount Tabor 40-12.

OL Phillip Walton (Charlotte Christian)- Charlotte Christian defeated Victory Christian 37-6.

LS Tyler Griffiths (Sun Valley High School)- Griffiths had seven tackles, five assists, one sack, three punt snaps and two field goal snaps. Sun Valley lost to Rocky River 21-14.
