PC: Schooley, Teal Meet The Media

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Quinton Schooley and Thomas Teal met with the media to discuss the upcoming game against Presbyterian.

Quinton Schooley

"It felt great to come out and perform at the high level that we knew we could."

"We're always happy to get over 300 yards, but we always want more. We expect more out of ourselves."

"We know we have to block for them, no matter what."

"Coach Canada always emphasizes you have to start fast."

"Coach Canada and coach Uremovich always have us well-prepared for what we may be facing."

"We just know our rules and stick with them, no matter."

"We'll celebrate [touchdowns], but we'll come off the field and get re-focused."

"Joe has a good IQ for the game."

"Alex Barr is really good about knowing the fronts and helping out as much as he can."

"I feel like we're playing more confident. With Jacoby at quarterback... Jacoby just gets in there and picks defenses apart. We're clicking on all levels right now."

Thomas Teal

"As a defensive performance we were really disappointed with our play last week."

"We tried to focus on our tackling."

"We concentrated more [last week] on fundamentals."

"We take pride in the redzone defense. It's one of our strong points at the moment."

"It's the same... guys were more locked in. Our performance was disappointing so we take pride in that."

"You have to talk to coach about that [regarding his wrist injury]."

"It felt good. The first two games were kind of frustrating for us as a unit. The offenses did a little different blocking schemes than we're used to."

"They are young. It's a first for them. As leaders we tried to lead the way by showing them how we play."

"We just try to get them direction and hopefully they follow."

"Basically, sign off on what you because the eye in the sky doesn't lie. You represent your school and family and everything you put on tape be proud of it."

"We try to make that our role, as a unit because we've had success in the past."

"As a unit we try to take turns and step up."

"We always want to be better as a unit. It's a good start, but we're never satisfied."

"We take it one game at a time. You can't overlook anybody at this level of football. We just take it one game at a time."
