PLAYER OF THE WEEK S Jarius Morehead (Eastern Guilford High School)- Morehead had better than 200 yards rushing while throwing for close to 100 yards and scoring three touchdowns. He had six tackles, blocked a punt, had a 40-yard punt of his own and sold three dozen hotdogs at half time. Eastern Guilford defeated Northeast Guilford 33-0.

LB James Smith-Williams (Millbrook High School)- had a bye week

LB Riley Nicholson (Osceola High School)- Nicholson had 10 tackles and three tackles for loss as Osceola beat Liberty 35-13.

DT Quentez Johnson (Cedar Grove High School)- Johnson had five tackles and two sacks as Cedar Grove beat Douglass 35-7.

QB Austin King (Alpharetta High School)- King completed 19-of-27 for 232 yards with one touchdown and an interception. Alpharetta defeated Lambert 35-17.

S Freddie Phillips (Pelion High School)- Phillips had eight tackles, one forced fumble and a pass breakup as Pelion defeated Mid-Carolina 42-21.

WR Brian Sessoms (Carver High School)- had a bye week

OL Philip Walton (Charlotte Christian)-  Walton had three tackles and a tackle for loss, helping Charlotte Christian beat Monroe 35-27.

DE Malik Douglas (South Brunswick High School)- Douglas had touchdown runs of 4 and 39 yards as South Brunswick beat South Columbus 34-24.

LS Tyler Griffiths (Sun Valley High School)- Griffiths has four tackles as Sun Valley defeated Porter Ridge 17-10.

OL T.J.McCoy South Lake High School)- South Lake rushed for 169 yards and beat Lake Region 13-9 to improve to 4-0.
