With close to 100 prospects in attendance including many of their top targets, NC State played host to the top remaining offensive tackle on the board, Hillside's Emanuel McGirt.
McGirt initially committed to North Carolina before backing off that pledge. Since then he's wavered between Georgia and NC State with the Bulldogs taking the lead recently according to reports.
So after the trip to Raleigh, is Georgia still out front? Pack Pride checked in with McGirt after the FSU game to find out.
"Nah, it's NC State (as my favorite) now," McGirt said.
A couple of the big selling points for State has been their improvement in 2014 and a tremendous home environment. McGirt said both impressed him.
"Man the game was fantastic!, he said. "I loved it, the coaches are changing the program for the better."
As for a timeline on a decision, McGirt said he's unsure when he will make a commitment.
He is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 24 offensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com.
