Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the win over South Florida.

Ralston Turner

"In the first half I had a lot of open jumpers go short."

"It was good to see one go down."

"We thought they would play zone."

"We won't be surprised if more team's play zone."

"He got the fans into it and it gave us a lot of momentum."

"We knew that once he dropped some weight he would be able to play longer."

Trevor Lacey

"It feels good to have that game with the stretch we have coming up."

"We have to be better and execute towards the end."

"I think it was more the last five or six minutes of the game."

"We weren't as aggressive as we were the first five minutes of the half."

"We should have stayed that way instead of worrying about missing shots."

"We know what Kyle can do. It's just a matter of him staying on the court and staying out of foul trouble."

Cat Barber

"The end, they were coming back."

"We wanted to close the game out."

"We held our ground and we won."

"I missed some easy ones that I know I can hit and coach knows I can hit."

"It hurt that I missed them."

"It's good for us to have more people that can hit shots."
