Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media following the win over Boise State.

Ralston Turner

"We got stops, that was the first thing."

"This game had a lot of situations where we had to overcome adversity."

"Early on in the game we had a lot of foul calls, offensive fouls."

"We had our big guys get in foul trouble."

"We were trying to defend the perimeter better."

"It's hard for bigs to help and then defend the 3-point line as well. With a smaller lineup I think we were able to move around a little bit faster."

Cat Barber

"The games come up quick so you always have to prepare for the next team."

"We didn't go home, I think that helped."

"We all stayed here together and just prepared for what we were trying to do."

"I really think it will help us.... playing Boise State can get us prepared to go to Purdue because they are kind of the same way."

Trevor Lacey

"It was a slow start... it was difficult, but we just got through it."

"Duncan missed a lot of wide open ones. We didn't guard him well, he just wasn't making them. We knew that eventually he'd start making them. We defended him well down the stretch."

"Just taking open shots."

"The first couple of games I was just excited to be out here."

"The last jumpshot, they put their big on me and I just took advantage of the opportunity."

"I'm not going to say I'm going to take the shot, but I'm going to make the right play."
