AUDIO: Lacey, Turner Talk Bearcats

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State's Trevor Lacey and Ralston Turner discuss Tuesday's game against the Bearcats.

Trevor Lacey

"They'll be physical and they'll crash the boards like West Virginia."

"Execution on offense... the last two minutes of the game, that's what we talk about."

"We have to have that."

"We have to control our energy and effort on defense."

"We're a good defensive team, and we're competitive."

"We lost a couple of games down the stretch, but we learned from them."

"We've built off those. We missed some free throws down the stretch and we've learned from that."

"We're really going to have to play those tough games and grind it out."

"The conference really stands out. Every night it's going to be big games."

Ralston Turner

"Yeah definitely, the first half we didn't come out with the energy we needed to. At that point we felt like everything wasn't going our way."

"It would have been easy to start pointing fingers, but we didn't. We stayed together."

"Early on in the year we did have some close games."

"We've had different challenges this year."

"They got us last year at their place, but other than that, I don't really look back at it."

"They have a few different players, and we have a few different players."

"In terms of our execution, early on we weren't executing as well as coach would like us to."

"We've done a better job of defending as a group."

"It feels great... I'm looking forward to the next step."

"Actually I'm the second [college graduate in my family]. My sister was the first... she graduated from UAB."

"For me, next semester it will help me out not having to worry about school, from a mental standpoint. I'm happy about it."

"I realize that they are all games, but I also realize that we need to play well."

"Cincinnati is a good team. It will be a good test for us, the game before ACC play really starts."
