Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Abdul-Malik Abu and Trevor Lacey met with the media following the loss to Clemson.

Abdul-Malik Abu

"We felt like we guarded them based on the scouting report."

"They made a lot of good shots."

"I feel like my guys put it all out there."

"It was emotional. We just wanted to go out there and play with heart."

"Some days you're hot and some days you're not."

"Not giving up."

"It was just things that needed to get done. We can't take the game for granted."

"That rotation we had, it was good, it worked for us."

"You can always count on energy to come from the Martin Twins."

Trevor Lacey

"They just got everything they wanted in the first half."

"That's what we've been doing all year, playing half a game."

"It's us defending. We're not going to make every shot but we have to make it harder for them to score points."

"Anybody that's in this league can make those plays."

"It got us going. It sped them up a little bit."

"We were more active. We were down 20 and playing hard, trying to cut the lead."

"You don't like to lose. Three in a row, that's tough... we also have games to still turn it around."

"We're just going to come out re-focused. We have Georgia Tech on Saturday and we're going to move on."

"We knew coming in that we needed to turn it around and win some games."

"As a team we're not going to clock out and say we're not making the tournament... we're digging ourselves into a deeper hole."
