Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State's Trevor Lacey, Cat Barber, and Ralston Turner met with the media after the 69-53 win over Virginia Tech.

Trevor Lacey

"We played well for the most part. We got loose defensively a couple of times."

"It gives us stuff to work on. We may see that again, so we'll be prepared for it next time."

"When guys do what they normally do it makes everybody else's job easier."

"From just us seeing him not practicing or the treatment he gets we understand he's going to give 100% when he's out there."

"We just want to win. We know we're not going to win every game by 20 or 30."

Ralston Turner

"It's very important. At this time of the year you want to get better and play your best basketball."

"I think so. You can't complain with time off. Not only did it give some guys a chance to get healthy but also some time to work on things we needed to work on."

"Here recently we've been doing a better job."

"I give credit to my bigs... they set good screens."

"Throughout the whole stretch it's not like I was down or anything like that. The situation was what it was so here lately I've been trying to work harder to see if I could get over that mountain."

Cat Barber

"The last couple of games I've been hitting."

"It just makes it harder for them to guard us."

"When I went up for the shot and he fouled me when I came down he bumped my knee."

"It's always good to play against Carolina. It's going to be a big game. We're going to go out there and try to win."

"I just can't wait for Tuesday to come."

"It was good for Dez to come in and score the ball and just be out there playing."
