Lacey, Anya Honored By ACC

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Trevor Lacey was voted second team All-ACC and BeeJay Anya collected two all-league honors as the ACC announced the vote conducted by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA).

Trevor Lacey, who averaged 16.1 points per game this season, was sixth in the conference in scoring while appearing among the league leaders in 3-point percentage (.407), 3-pointers made (2.33), assist-turnover (1.81) and minutes played (35.90). The 6-3 redshirt junior averaged 15.3 points per game in ACC play and posted seven games with 17 or more points. He scored at least nine points in all 18 of NC State's ACC contests.

BeeJay Anya, a 6-9 sophomore, led the ACC and ranked 20th in the nation with 2.71 blocked shots per game. He set a school single-game record with 10 blocks early in the season and his 84 blocks in the regular season currently stands second on NC State's all-time list. In ACC play, Anya rejected 2.44 shots per game, good for second in the conference.

Additionally, Anya was voted by the media as the ACC Sixth Man of the Year.

The media voted Duke's Jahlil Okafor the conference's player of the year and freshman of the year. Virginia's Tony Bennett was named coach of the year.

The ACC head coaches' vote will be announced Monday, March 9.
