Lynchburg (VA) safety Tim Glass committed to NC State roughly seven months ago and he's remained rock solid with the Wolfpack throughout.
Last month Glass participated in the regional Nike Camp held in Charlotte. He impressed with a solid frame that shows a ton of physical upside. Glass has great feet and more than held his own against some of the top talent from around the southeast region.
So how much has Glass and State stayed in touch since his commitment?
"I've been staying in touch with State about every week. Every different coach has hit me up. Actually I'm supposed to see coach White in a few days so everything has been going with them."
One of the things that really sold Glass on NC State was the fan support. He's had a chance to see them in person while attending some Wolfpack home games so he knows first hand just how rabid the NC State fanbase can be.
"Man, State's fanbase it wild. I love it. That's mostly why I committed was because of the fans. They have the best fans in the country and I really love them to death."
Despite the commitment to State, that doesn't mean other schools have given up on him.
"I've still been having a lot of interest from other schools like Pittsburgh came down to the school the other day. I've been receiving mail from Oregon and different schools. They've been coming at me hard but I'm still committed to State."
Glass isn't necessarily done with recruiting, however. He's solid to NC State but he'd also like to bring some more prospects to Raleigh. One of those is Lawrenceville (GA) Archer LB Donta Evans. The two are good friends and Glass is doing everything he can to get Evans to join him at NC State.
"We're working him real, real good and we're really trying to get him. I think it's a possible chance he might come."
