Julious Has Wolfpack Visit On The Horizon

Lackawanna College offensive lineman Ashton Julious has several visits scheduled for the summer. One of them will be NC State.

NC State boasts three commitments along the offensive line for the class of 2016 but make no mistake, the Pack is nowhere near done. State hopes to land at least two more offensive tackles and that pursuit has led them to Lackawanna College OL Ashton Julious.
The Pack has been recruiting Julious for a while and will receive an unofficial visit around the first week of June. He will also take official visits to Arizona State, UCF and Baylor and those three schools are those he feels best about.
They have been recruiting him for a long time and Julious does not care about where his next school is on the map. Just look at his list and those three are not exactly nearby. They are a long way from where he is now at Lackawanna College and they are far from each other.
Julious (6-8, 320) can take official visits any time now and he will take those three officials in the summer. With a hope to graduate in December a decision before late in the year is what he wants to aim for. That means the choices Julious makes now will be very important. The Wolfpack is hoping to be there when Julious settles on a school.
It’s been only about a month since the Wolfpack offered and that was right around the time that he started talking to Des Kitchings.
“There’s a running back here and I guess they came up to check in on him and watch him. It was right about that time when I started talking to them. They didn’t offer too long ago. I’m not exactly sure what happened with the other guy. We just had him come as a transfer. I’ve talked to Coach Kitchings a little bit about NC State but he was mostly asking me to come visit so he could show me some more about it. I’m taking that soon.”
That trip will not be the like the others. Julious will pay his own way to NC State and that visit likely won't last as long. Julious said NC State has some ground to make up on Arizona State, UCF and Baylor but while he will say that up front he said it is possible he could still schedule an official visit to NC State. If he enjoys himself on the upcoming trip and he can work another visit into his calendar then that second visit could happen.
“Really right now I’m still doing my research on all the schools still talking to me. I’m still just getting into it. I plan on taking those three officials in the summer maybe and then I’ll try to take some more during the season when I get time around then. I ain’t trying to make a decision too fast but those schools do stand out a little bit. There’s just certain things a like about them. At the end all the schools are really the same to me but those three have stood out to me so far. But it could change and everybody’s pretty much the same.”
