CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- Pack Pride caught up with four-star forward Mario Kegler at the NBPA Top 100 Camp.

Pack Pride caught up with four-star forward Mario Kegler at the NBPA Top 100 Camp for an update on his recruitment.

What's the experience been like so far at this camp? I know it's still kind of early.
It's still early but it's a great experience. I can play with a lot of great people. I'm tring to merge in with my team, fit in best with my team, and win. I want to get my name out there.

At this camp you can play against guys from other AAU circuits. What's that been like?
It's cool... you have guys from Under Armour, Nike, adidas... you can play against them all. That's nice.

Who is coaching you here from the NBA?
Mike James.

What's that been like?
He's a NBA player. I'm taking everything in from Mike that I can. He's been at the top level, so I'm just trying to take in everything he tells me.

You have a versatile game. Can you talk about your strengths and weaknesses?
Defending and getting to the rim, that's my strength. I can hit the mid-range. I think I need to get to the foul line more.

What position are you being recruited to play?
The two and the three.

Who are some of the schools that have offered you?
UCLA, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Ohio State, LSU, Baylor, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCONN, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

Who might be close to offering?
I'd say Arizona.

One team you've mentioned early on was NC State.
Yeah, they've been on me a little bit.

What has the interest been like?
I think they are talking to my dad. I haven't got a message or call from them yet, but I'd like to.

What do you know about their program?
Right now I don't know much about them.

Do you have any visits planned?
Not right now.

Do you have a timeframe for making a decision?
No sir.
