How has the AAU season gone so far?
I think it has been going pretty good. We qualified for Peach Jam. It is going pretty good.
How nice is it to step away from the normal circuit and play at the NBPA Top-100 Camp?
This experience is great so far. It is Day One out of a four-day journey. You learn a lot with these NBA players as my coaches. The classes they have, helps you in everyday life. It is a great camp.
How does thee rest of the summer look?
The rest of the summer is looking pretty good. I have the Peach Jam and I have got Vegas. I am looking to end my AAU career with a bang.
How many offers do you have now? What are the schools?
I have about [a dozen] offers. It is Michigan, USC, Arizona State, Auburn, Texas, Florida State, North Carolina State, Cal-Berkeley, Washington, Tulsa, and George Washington University.
Have you scheduled a visit to NC State?
I have not scheduled a visit yet, but I think I will be visiting on an official.
Do you have a timetable for making a decision or narrowing your list?
I am just letting it go right now, trying to see if I pick up more offers and then hopefully soon I will know what I am looking for. I feel like by the end of July after the open periods I feel like I should be cutting the list down.
Who have you talked to at NC State?
I have talked to Coach Early. He tells me that he likes the way they play and I love the way they play too--up and down, in your face on defense. I like that type of style.
Are you impressed with what NC State brings to the table?
Definitely. They are playing in one of the toughest [conferences] in the ACC. They are playing against great players, great teams every night. They made it pretty far in the tournament this year.
I feel like they can just build on that. They are a great team.
