How nice is it to get off the regular AAU circuit and compete in the NBPA Top-100 Camp?
I like it. You don't really get a chance to see the Nike or Adidas players and so playing against them is a lot of fun. It is telling me I can play with them.
Have you learned anything about yourself after going up against this type of competition?
I know that I can play with them. I think I am one of the better players in the country as well.
Style-wise, what do you think you do best?
I think I do everything well. I don't do anything particularly great, I just try my best to win games. I just try to do it all.
What are you working on?
Skill-wise, I am working on my dribbling and getting faster. You can never be too good of a shooter, so I try to get up as many shots as I can.
What position do you see yourself playing?
Which schools are after you the hardest?
I would probably say Miami, St. Joseph's, NC State and Georgetown(has not offered).
What schools have offered?
NC State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Temple, LaSalle, Rhode Island, Hofstra, Miami and St. Joseph's.
Do you have any visits lined up over the summer?
Not yet but I will probably set up something soon.
What are your impressions of NC State?
They have been on me pretty hard. I have not visited yet, but I think I am going to this summer with my AAU coach so I am looking forward to it.
I have talked to Coach Gottfried. I saw them play this year -- they had two really good players I think -- and they went to the tournament and did really well.
