Which school could be next to pull the trigger?
"I think it could be Clemson,” said the 6-foot-5, 270-pound Moore. “It would be great if they offered. I like everything about Clemson.”
Moore’s most recent visits were to North Carolina and NC State for camps.
The Mallard Creek standout’s first stop was Chapel Hill.
"I went up there for the Freak Show and it was a really good experience,” Moore said. “It was my second time there this summer and it was very intense and everyone was active. My favorite parts of the camp were the one-on-ones and when we were in the weight room. I felt like I did pretty well.
"I talked to (offensive line) coach (Chris) Kapilovic a lot and he told me I could be very good player for North Carolina and that meant a lot. I also got to spend a lot of time with coach (Larry) Fedora, which was good. I like his enthusiasm. They’ve been recruiting me since my freshman year.”
Next, Moore went to NC State.
"That camp was really good, too,” he said. “I thought I did well. I felt like I did well in the agility drills and one-on-ones. My favorite part of the camp was the one-on-ones because a lot of people were watching.
"I talked with (offensive line) coach (Mike) Uremovich the most. We talked the whole camp and I felt like we already started building a relationship. And I talked to coach (Dave) Doeren and enjoyed that also.”
As for the rest of the summer, Moore's only scheduled trip is to NC State on July 24. He also said he plans to go to games at North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina and hopefully Florida State this fall.
Mallard Creek opens their season on Aug. 22 against Independence.
