NOTES: Harrison Gee was the Wolfpack's first commitment in the 2016 recruiting class, as the local standout picked NC State last July.

"It just felt like home," said Gee. "I can't really pinpoint one thing. The whole atmosphere, the whole environment, it just felt right. Everytime I went on campus it just felt like I was in the right place. You know, obviously the connections there and being a fan my whole life played into it. I just felt like the players, the coaches, it was just right for me."

Gee, who was recently nominated to play in the Semper Fi All-American Bowl, is one of the top linemen in the state. He capped his junior season by being named first-team AP All-State, the only underclassman offensive lineman to make the team.

He is also the son of Mike Gee, who starred on the offensive line at NC State, earning first-team All-ACC honors in 1992. Because he's a legacy recruit, Harrison grew up attending Wolfpack games and is thrilled with the direction of the program.

"The sky's the limit if you ask me," he said. "Going from three wins to eight wins is a huge jump and to just keep recruiting like they are, the depth is just getting better and better. The talent's coming in."
