Cook, Taylor Discuss Lift For Life

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State's Cole Cook and Josh Taylor met with the media following the Wolfpack's Lift For Life event.

Cole Cook

"It's a really great thing to give back always."

"We have the best fans in the world."

"It's another opportunity for us to give back to them as well as help a great cause."

"Anytime you can help someone less fortunate than you, it's a blessing."

"It's been awesome."

"Everybody has chipped in. I just told them to give what you have. I know Josh has really worked hard to help get some donations, and everybody has done their part with their position group to raise some money."

"It's for Leukemia... this was started long before I got here for coach Dana Bible. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2009 I believe, and we're just going to continue to honor that tradition that the guys before us have set and hopefully make our impact on Leukemia research."

Josh Taylor

"I'm the Vice President of this program and Cole Cook is the President."

"It's a rare disease they want to raise money for."

"We just kept it. It's something we can raise money for and help other people."

"Every year we have to say this is the time to do this and everybody jumps on board, sends out tweets and Instagrams."

"It's got a little competitive. I think the reward is an ice cream sundae thing during camp maybe. But I don't think that's the main thing everyone is looking forward to. Everybody is trying to raise money for the cause."

"The first chapter started at Penn State."

"We have to go to compliance and make sure everything is good for media release."
