MEDIA DAY: Wolfpack Players Meet The Media

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players spoke with the media at 2015 Media Day.

"At the end of the day he did have 40 points, but he also took a L home."

"I don't recall him scoring."

"It's a game-changer for me. I'm looking forward to it."

"Everyday I pick up a basketball I dream about playing in the PNC and going on the road to those venues."

"Right now I'm ready to explode."

"Being a leader, being more vocal on the court."

"I worked on my jumper a lot."

"They believe in me that I can step up and be a great scorer like I was in high school."

"I feel like I'm going to carry it over to this season."

"Me and Terry... we kind of have a feel for each other. I know Terry is a great player."

"I want to focus on making my shot a lot more consistent."

"So I can be a complete player, a complete guard."

"That definitely played a part in my decision."

"It is. I just concentrate on being a great guard... pass, shoot, dribble where I can do it all."

"I definitely like to get to the rim and get in the lane."

"I like to make stuff happen."

"Right now I think I'm the biggest recruiter for them. We'll see. I'm in his ear a little bit."

"It was the best opportunity for me."

"A couple of schools suggested it."

"I decided to go with the best option for me."

"I really enjoy it here. The only bad thing is my classes are a little far away... it's really not that bad."

"I just really enjoy it here."

"They've really accepted me here and I have a great relationship with my teammates. They've been here for me."

"Cody and his brother Caleb are big role models for me."

"They taught me a lot of things about NC State and how things work."

"Well, due to the length and how many guards we have, how athletic everyone is... the things we work on in practice help a lot."

"I think we're right on track... we're not too worried about the other people."

"We know what we're doing on and off the court."

"It's one of the teams where we've been together."

"Everybody gets along pretty well with each other."

"I think I'm ready. I've worked on my scoring, my defense."

"I think we're really good. We're young too."

"My expectations are to win a national championship, and I think we have a very good chance to."

"They did good... we have a couple of new guys in."

"Terry has more experience."

"It's been different from the other years."

"Four guards on the court... I'm not used to seeing that at State."

"BeeJay worked extremely hard."

"He works out two or three times a day... eating right and losing weight."

"We've bonded."

"As a team, we set goals for ourselves."

"Hopefully this year will be a good year."

"I think it's going to be a special year for us."

"We've been getting wins, going to the tournament, and making some noise."

"I feel great. I've been working hard."

"I've been working really hard and I still have a lot of work to do."

"The toughest adjustment was, I'd say the speed of the game."

"Having the intellect to analyze."

"It's something I knew I was capable of."

"I came in with a lot of big expectations."

"I feel like I'm going to have to have a role where I come in with the same mentality."

"We're close. These are my best friends in the world."
