Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media after the loss to Louisville.

"We hurt ourselves obviously with things we've been doing very well."

"He's pretty fast... he was just really fast."

"He was a great track runner."

"They changed their offense from last year obviously, but it's something we've seen."

"We'll bounce back quicker than we did last year."

"We lost by seven points and there were a bunch of plays we could have had back."

"Some people missed some tackles."

"That's what we have to fix, missed tackles."

"If I make those throws at the end it's a different ballgame."

"Those two other throws I had..."

"No I don't think so. We were in the game until the end."

"I thought we ran the ball well."

"We just have to finish."

"Obviously it's a different opponent. They were stout inside."

"I think we made some good runs."

Just have to look at it and see why I didn't make them. They gave us the right coverage for each of them."

"They were getting a lot of pressure on our guards, but it can happen. We just have to move on."

"We knew it was going to be a four-quarter game... it just didn't turn out our way."

"They were big... we knew they were a good team for creating turnovers, but it happens. You have to learn from it and keep moving."

"We weren't really converting on third-downs as much as we normally do."

"I was trying to do what was best for us."

"I saw two seams but one guy hit me."

"I tried to juke out the kicker but actually ran into my own man."

"Those guys had a really good angle and I tried to get back inside."

"We didn't execute like we should of. That was a great team, and we just didn't execute like we should of."

"We knew it may be a shorter game because both teams like to run the ball."

"We need to get it fixed before the next game."

"He made a good play."

"Someone should have been standing there to make the tackle."
